Dr. Tej Tadi, who founded MindMaze in 2011, is an electronics engineer with advanced master’s coursework in virtual reality & computer graphics at The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Switzerland. During his PhD (EPFL), he set up an immersive virtual reality system in combination with state-of-the-art brain imaging technologies enabling trans-disciplinary work in cognitive psychology, neuroimaging, and virtual reality. Tej enjoys playing guitar and tennis when he’s not immersed in neuroscience and VR.
Pierre-Emmanuel has a BA in entrepreneurship from Babson College and an MBA from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Prior to joining MindMaze at its inception, Pierre-Emmanuel worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers for five years in Lausanne, Switzerland. He also holds a CPA license. He enjoys cooking in his free time.
Elmar joined MindMaze in June 2016. He previously served as a non-executive director, Chairman and CEO of Cardiorentis Ltd., a biopharmaceutical company. He has held various positions at Merck KGaA, a global pharmaceutical and chemical group, UCB SA, Sanofi-Synthélabo SA, Migliara/Kaplan Associates, Inc. and Fisons Pharmaceuticals PLC. Mr. Schnee holds both a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s degree in marketing and general management from the Swiss Institute of Business Administration in Zurich. In his free time Elmar still rides his first motorcycle, now 34 years old.
With more than 20 years of healthcare and medical device industry experience, Walid is also a technology venture investor and advises several global private equity firms. Previously, he held significant leadership roles at Cardinal Health, Medtronic Europe, and Procter & Gamble in Brand Management. Mr. Hanna holds an MBA from the Wharton School, a Master of Law from the University of Paris and is also a graduate from "Science Po", the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris.
Nunu is responsible for all finance and administration activities of MindMaze. He was formerly the CFO of Index Ventures in Geneva, the CFO of The Gates Foundation - Coffee Initiative for 3 years in Ethiopia, and a financial analyst for Medtronic Europe in Tolochenaz (Switzerland). In his early career he was an audit manager at Price Waterhouse in Geneva. Nunu completed his Bachelors in Economics at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst before pursuing a post graduate education in accounting and marketing at Webster University in Geneva Switzerland. He is an avid WW2 history enthusiast.
